DMP Composer Residency at Columbia College Chicago

Michael, Lolita & Kristopher were invited to mentor the members of the Music Composition For The Screen MFA Program at Columbia College Chicago, class of 2021. This intensive composer residency, which ultimately took place using videoconferencing software, allowed all three composers to interact with each of the thirteen students at Columbia for a period of 8 weeks. The DMP-designed curriculum included composition assignments for many genres written both as solo composers and in composer groups as well as career-focused work on networking, organization skills and digital portfolio presentation. Many thanks to the director of the program, Kubilay Uner, for selecting us to participate in this prestigious program. It has been thrilling to have witnessed their creative transformation throughout these past eight weeks.
